LI: To write a narrative from the point of view of a baby owl on its fist flight.
The sun had gone down behind the hills and the moon began to rise. The stars came out. When I was standing on the high branch I looked at the sky and I could see tiny little stars like diamonds. Tonight was the night I was going to begin the journey .I felt scared and nervous. When the moon was in the right place I asked my mom if I could begin. My mom said I have to wait for the perfect time to do it.When the moon reflected on the water it was magical.
There was one thing in the way and it was three eagles surrounding the tree and it was for sure he wasn’t going to make it out. My heart was beating fast.
My mom whispered my mom told me to be calm and spread my wings to fly
The eagles laughed at me and said I can’t even fly. My mom said look there to the eagle and my mom pushed me off the branch. I remember what my mom said to me. I spread my wings and suddenly I was flying.
The problem was simple to solve. All I had to do was fly in circle ‘s then crash into each other and spreaded my wings and flew off into the distance.
I looked back and saw my mom. My mom said we were safe. Than we went home. I was scared and a little bit happy because i learned how to fly.
Today we were writing about fly by night and we said it in our own words. Then me and my partner winston used our imagination for this and came up with our own story.
We carry on with the writing untill we have the solution to and show our teacher then we finishedd and wen’t to lunch.
